Adrenal Exhaustion -- some in the medical conmmunity think that adrenal exhaustion is a figment of the imagination of alt. medicine advocates. That is far from the truth -- it exists. The posterior pituitary gland opposes the adrenal contex -- most in medicine don't know this. When the post pit is overactive it supresses the adrenal cortex and causes a reduced ability to handle stress. Testosterone alone or sometimes with estrogen will work against the over active posterior pituitary, support the adrenals and keep things in balance. This pattern is seen a lot and the treatment for it works. Dwarfs and Giants -- Unless you are a pituitary dwarf or giant or have acromeglia you won't have your pituitary gland treated by modern medicine. Slight overactivity or underactivity of this gland is just not detected. Overactivity of the anterior pituitary gland is a particular problem. It is seen in type I diabetes cases, 95% of all cancer cases, at least 50% of cases of periodontal disease, and arthritis cases. The overactivity of this gland has to be supressed and the hormones will do this. It involves using micro doses of estrogen, testosterone, or a combination of both. This treatment also does double duty because it also corrects the andric/gynic balance. Testing by checking calcium/phosphorous ratios and sugar levels is used to determine the correct combination and dosages. R. Forbes

Other Glands -- The Page anthropometric measuring system is a quick way to determine someone's inherited glandular pattern. It tells you where to start in treatment. Without this it would take numerous tests and be too cumbersome. Basically you don't want to have any underactive or overactive glands because they cause killer and degenerative diseases. The more you know about this system the more you will realize that the current of medical treatment is a mess. Sometimes patients are taking 3-4 medications with possible side effects when one glandular supplement will often do the trick. R. Forbes

Bipolar and the posterior pituitary gland-- Page found that 88% of women and 39% of men in the U.S. have some underactivity of the posterior pituitary gland. Severe underactivity is always associated with manic depression and Page's measurements can be used as a diagnostic tool to pick up the tendency to manic depression. Furthermore this disorder can be cured rapidly with the proper dosage of the supplement. Dosages can be dertermined using the specific gravity of the and also with tests. specific gravity is a convenient method for young children. R. Forbes, D.M.D.
