The undiagnosed and untreated gland -- Except for major malfunctions of the pituitary gland this gland is largely untreated in modern medicine. Page determined through his system of body measurements or anthropometrics that the anterior pituitary can be over active or underactive and also the posterior pituitary gland can be over active or underactive. These glandular imbalances create all kinds of havoc when they can easily be balanced. One association between this gland discovered by Page is that the posterior pituitary gland is opposed by the adrenal cortex. This is unknown by modern medicine. When the posterior pituitary is overactive due to gene inheritance it supresses the adrenal cortex and causes reduced ability to handle stress over time. Dr. Ray Forbes
